Dear Watertown,

Today is the day. I urge everyone to perform their civic duty and vote!

I want to take this opportunity to share with you what I feel sets me apart from my opponent, and why I feel worthy of asking for your support.

A combination of my experience, qualifications, unwavering integrity, and vision for our great City is what makes me stand out.

If you haven't already seen my flyer, it is attached below and offers an easy-to-read summary of my experience and qualifications, as well as an introductory letter explaining more about my candidacy.

I firmly believe that honesty, transparency, and integrity are non-negotiable in public service. I believe in respecting people and maintaining an honorable reputation for our City. I am committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and making decisions based on what is best for the people and City of Watertown.

I love our community and I’m committed to helping it reach its highest potential. I have a vision of Watertown where people are united, supportive, and proud of where they live. I see new business and tourists coming to Watertown simply because they want in on all the good that’s happening here. I see Watertown flourishing and expanding with a variety of activities so that people can pursue whatever interests them right here where they live.

I am thankful for the many people I have met along the way during this campaign. So many wanted to talk about the real issues that were important to them. Many people were happy to see all the new infrastructure projects that took place this year. I also heard from many who felt the land and golf club purchase was talked to death by my opponent and they want to look ahead to what future projects the City will have in store. After all, my campaign was not the one issue campaign that my opponent tried to make it. There is so much more and people do see that improvements are being made every day. And there is more work to be done!

My candidacy is not about political ambition. I want to become Watertown’s next mayor because I have a genuine desire to create positive change in my community. I truly care about all people of Watertown from all walks of life. I know how important it is to work for everyone. I believe that my ideas, character, and leadership are what’s right for Watertown, and I humbly ask for your vote today.

Thank you for your consideration.

Lisa
